Beauty of Irregularity
不規則之美 從未湊近觀察過飛機草的花朵，也或許之前看到的都是它小小的花苞，一睹芳容之後，再次為之傾倒，僅有小拇指般大小的花瓣，卻有如此精巧的形狀，好像蘭花那樣蝴蝶狀的花冠，不對稱排列的花瓣和它本身自由舒展的葉片相襯至極。 I had never closely observed the flowers of the red butterfly wing ( Christia vespertilionis ) , and perhaps what I had seen before were only its tiny buds. After catching a glimpse of its beauty, I was once again captivated. The petals, no larger than a pinky finger, are ingeniously arranged, much like the butterfly-like corolla of an orchid (probably called papilionaceous corolla). The asymmetrically arranged petals are perfectly aligned with its freely spreading leaves.
