2023年年末於南生圍捕捉到此一幕：一隻小水鴨緊跟著一隻黑翅長腳鷸，兩隻水鳥均似幼鳥，他們靈動好奇，好像在一起探險；我隨感而想：

長腳鷸：“小水鴨，我想邀請你來我家玩，但我爸媽可能不會接納別的種群的夥伴。”

小水鴨：“你瞧，我現在把嘴藏起來，其實我們還是很像的。”

At the end of 2023, I witnessed this scene in Nam Sang Wai: A green-winged teal (Anas crecca) trailing closely behind a black-winged slilt (Himantopus himantopus). From my observation of their wings, I suspected both birds were juvenile, brimming with energy and curiosity, as if they were on an adventure together. This inspired my thoughts:

Black-winged Stilt: "I want to invite you to my home, but my parents might not accept friends from other species."

Green-winged Teal: "Look, I'm hiding my beak right now. We're actually quite similar."
